Week 2: Show Me Your Meal

It doesn’t have to be a dinner related meal. Anything from an egg creation to a flavorful meal that your children enjoy. Thank you to Jennifer Bishop at The Farm Store for sponsoring this Challenge. Last week Julia won locally grown red and gold beets.

The drawings take place every Monday night. There are four weeks in this Challenge.

A few rules: All recipes must exclude Refined Carbohydrates. Ideally, they should include Complex Fibrous Carbohydrates. Don’t know the difference? Do a little homework 🙂

Treadmill Boring? Doesn’t Have To Be

Here are some links to workouts that will mix it up for you to reduce boredom on the “dread”mill. As you know, treadmills can be dangerous if you try to get too fancy, so be cautious; you know your coordination level.

7 Days Left of the Push-Up Challenge for January

If you are no longer in the running for the drawing, please message me via email, Facebook, text or simply remove your name from the sign-up sheet.

 Here’s the original post:

January Challenge. Chance to Win a Top-of-the-Line Jump Rope

Oh, I know. We never feel the greatest this time of year. The guilt sets in, the dark sets in, and everything feels likes it’s setting (settling) in.

We’ve done this before. It’s simple! Commit to 100 push-ups a day for the entire
month of January. That’s it! I don’t mean, grind out 100 push-ups at once. Break it up through out your day. In your bathroom before work, during work, at home, at your child’s practice. 100 a day is super easy! These are chest-to-the-ground push ups.

If you truly completed at least 100 per day every day in January, your name will

jump ropebe entered into a drawing for a top-of-the-line jump rope custom made to your height and jumping ability.

Food, Glorious Food!

I know you’re trying to get back on track. One way is to prepare your food on a day that has a lull in activity. For me, it’s Sundays. Caution: Don’t grocery shop and prepare your food in one day . . . believe me, it’s too stressful. paleo batch cooking game-plan for just two hours of work

I’ve shared several hundred links to food ideas and I’ll continue to do so, but to find past recipes, just type “recipe” in the search field on this blog and you’ll find a lot of results.
