When do we move inside?

When it’s dark 🙂

We will start outside and end in the dark for a few weeks toward the end of September. Then we’ll eventually move inside (where we may still get in an outdoor warm-up run).

Get Back on the Food Prep Train

Many of us have kids and we’re in the back-to-school mode, which means we need to get into a healthier routine with food preparation for our entire family. We know that we can’t eat a bowl of cereal, therefore, our kids can’t be sustained for the morning on the same choice. Plus, many of our kids have after-school activities. Cambridge Area Rotary 5K Fun Run
. The Cambridge Area Rotary hosts its 7th annual Fun Run, open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, following the scenic back roads from Cambridge to Jeffersonville. For more information, visit rotarycambridge.org

October 19

Trail Race at Smugglers’. Join us for the final trail race in our three race series! A 4k, 8k and Kids’ Fun Run will take place in and around our cross-country trail network. Open to runners of all abilities!

All races start at the resort’s Nordic/Tennis Center. The Kids’ Fun Run begins at 9:30 am and the 4k and 8k begin at 10:00 am.

Cost: $20 with online registration prior to event, $25 day of event. $10 ages 7-15, online or day of. Kids 7 and under compete for free. A complete sports waiver is required before the start of the series. Proceeds benefit the Flyin’ Ryan Foundation, Cambridge Food Shelf, and Lamoille County Girls on the Run. We will be collecting non-perishable food items and old sneakers (kids and adult sizes) on race day. Register online
