Boot Camp Schedule Changes

As a reminder, this Saturday (Nov. 2) is the last Saturday class in Jeffersonville for the winter. The Wednesday class continues year-round. However, soon, we’ll need to move down stairs to the multi-purpose room due to basketball.

Fairfax, we’re going to move this Thursday’s class to Wednesday. Halloween in Fairfax produces a lot of traffic since most of the town is walking up, down and around main street. There’s no sense in sitting in traffic.

Fairfax evening classes will soon be moved to 7pm temporarily due to basketball. This happened last year. It’s only for a short amount of time. I’ll keep you posted.

50 Day Challenge

This is the last week. The celebration is upon us. There’s been a tremendous amount of work done by every challenger. Many changes, whether it’s energy, focus, weight loss, sleeping patterns, digestive issues or all of them, you all should be proud at the foundation you’re laying for the rest of your life!

Lamoille Obstacle Race on Nov. 9

It’s nice to see how many of you registered for the race already. To receive a race, you need to register by Oct. 31 in order to place an order for a dri-fit tech shirt. If not, you can certainly register the day of the race.

The students are excited to organize the second annual Lamoille Obstacle race on Saturday, November 9.

All of the proceeds from the Lamoille Obstacle Race will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Vermont.  This non-profit organization was unanimously chosen by our class to receive these donations because of what they accomplish.

In order to make this event happen, we are in need of your support. Here’s a list of different ways to become involved:

–         Big Dipper Sponsor (value of $75.00): Option of renting a spot for a vendor table and/or displaying your banner at our event

–         Little Dipper Sponsor: Donate a product or gift certificate for a top competitor(s)

–         Register as a competitor and/or encourage friends & family to compete

–         Be a volunteer!!

With your sponsorship, you receive complimentary advertising on our website. Depending on how much you donate, you will be considered a “Big Dipper” or “Little Dipper”. Big Dippers get their name in large print at the top of our sponsor page. Little Dippers have their name shown in smaller font on the sponsor page.

If you require additional information about the Lamoille Obstacle Race, please contact me and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. You may also visit http://lamoilleobstaclerace.weebly.com/ or contact me by phone in the Business Administration classroom at: 802-851-1590.
