Last week we braved the indoor heat and pushed hard. Wednesday was our last AM workout (see picture bel0w). We’ll definitely hold a summer AM class next year. Like Carma said, AMs sound fun now, but not so fun when it gets darker and colder. Thursday, we hit a new attendance record . . . 50! The cheerleaders continue their pre-season conditioning and I’m seeing more mother-daughter pairs. It’s a wonderful feeling to see all age groups and fitness levels having such a great time.
From here on out, it’s Monday and Thursday night at 6:30 pm. We’ll stay outside as long as we can. Typically, we can last until the 2nd week in September.
This Week in the News
1. Has anyone on the “Biggest Loser” TV show pulled a hot air balloon? Well, look at the pic below. If you were there, please share the story with us.
2. Boot Camp with LSD t-shirt/tank order will be placed tomorrow. I’ll order extra to have on hand. Send me an email if you have an order. They’re $10 each.
3. What music group/song motivates you to move? The DJ for the Boot Cancer event wants to put together a playlist.
4. I’m proud of my brother in the L.A. area. He won first place in a Crossfit competition against athletes in the central CA area. He’s over 35, married, 3 kids, travels for work and still finds time to train and compete. No excuses 🙂
5. Boot Cancer updates
My goodness, we have had a wonderful response so far! We’re working on a live Webcast provided by Northeast Sports Network.
Yeah, we have a DJ. Brian Fredette, a long-timer support of the Relay of Life has agreed to DJ and MC the event.
