Week of June 20, 2010

This is a busy week for us.  Why?  There’s 3 events going on.

1. Yesterday was the first AM Boot Camp class.  We had 15 people get up out of bed to make it for a 5:45 am class in the misty rain.  A few of us headed to the Foothills Bakery to have a cup of Joe and coffee cake (Mmmm . . . rhubarb, sour cream and whatever else that made it so delicious).  We’ll make it standard stop after the Wednesday AM workouts.

2. Saturday, June 26: Relay for Life in Franklin County.  This is what the Boot Cancer fundraising is all about . . . Come walk with us.  In 2010, the Boot Cancer events raised over $700 and we have 3 more events to go.  Our overall goal is $3,000. http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR/RelayForLife/RFLFY10NE?team_id=754142&pg=team&fr_id=23450

3. Sunday, June 27: 15-Minute Boot Camp workout at The Confluence in Montpelier. Come to participate and/or volunteer.  Details on the workout are at: http://bootcancer.org/MiniCamps.aspx

Next week, I’m posting information on Vitamin D and B12.  I had a great conversation with my doctor about the myths and facts about both.

See you outdoors!!
